Newton’s Grove School offers a wide range of Extended Programming opportunities designed to give students more
ways to learn, explore new interests, develop skills and have fun beyond the school day.

Cooking Class Play Day

Cook, Create & Taste! Hands-on learning
of food preparation, cooking, nutrition and
kitchen skills. Learn alongside a real
professional chef how to safely prepare
ingredients, follow recipes, measure and
mix, explore different foods, and
understand how healthy ingredients help
fuel our bodies. Develop confidence,
independence, teamwork, and creativity in
the kitchen.
LEGO® Build & Create Play Day

Imagine, Design & Build! A day full of
creativity, problem-solving, teamwork, and
hands-on fun. LEGO building challenges
are designed to get students thinking,
designing, experimenting and creating.

Zumba

This fun and energetic program is
designed to get kids moving to the fusion
of Latin and international music and dance
themes. This style of dancing involves
aerobic movements that encourage
students to stay active and healthy while
learning to move to the rhythmic beats and
urban steps of hip-hop, soca, samba,
salsa, merengue and mambo.

each class by using numerous different Lego
platforms and themes such as Lego Minecraft,
Lego Marvel, Lego City, Lego Star Wars, and
basic Lego sets. This program is great for

for our public speaking and debate programs.

Our Boxing After-School Program introduces
students to the fundamentals of boxing in a
safe, structured, and age-appropriate
environment. Through movement, footwork,
basic technique, coordination drills, fitness
activities, and partner exercises, students build
confidence, discipline, focus, balance, and
overall physical fitness. The program is non-
contact and focuses on skill development,
fitness, personal growth, respect, self-control,
and sportsmanship rather than competitive
sparring.

Campers will train with talented and
experienced coaches with a focus on both fun
and skill development. Players of all skill levels
are invited to register for the program. Newton’s
Grove Volleyball Camp prepares athletes with
technical skill development and game play.

enjoyment of the game.
STEM Sparks: Junior Inventors Club

STEM Sparks: Junior Adventures Club is a fun,
hands-on program designed to introduce young
learners to science, technology, engineering,
and mathematics. Through age-appropriate

March Break Camp

Sports, creativity and innovation come together.
Get ready for an action-packed March Break at Newton’s Grove School.
The NGS Grove Camp: Multi Sport & Arts and Crafts combines sports, creative projects and STEM-inspired activities in an engaging camp experience.
Students will take part in activities including basketball, soccer, volleyball, tennis, art and hands-on STEM challenges, while developing teamwork, problem-solving and design skills.
